Improves Hygiene, Reduces Hospital Acquired Infections
GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN – August 15, 2019
AdventHealth Gordon hospital in Calhoun, Georgia has increased their stringent disinfection efforts by adding the 2280 Syndicate ultraviolet (UV) robots to their extensive hygiene program.
The 2280 Syndicate UV disinfection robot is an advanced, paired system designed to work in tandem to emit industry-leading germicidal energy with the flexibility of a dual-emitter platform. The result is very fast and highly effective disinfection treatments.
“The 2280 Syndicate is an extremely powerful dual-emitter system that enables single-cycle, whole-room disinfection treatments in short treatment durations”, stated Chris Batts, Skytron’s Director of UVC Sales. “Single-cycle treatments save busy EVS teams a great deal of time and allow for smooth integration into their room clean and disinfection protocol.” UVC robots are a key part of the disinfection bundle in the battle against HAIs. Benefits of Skytron’s intelligent robots include the automated calculation of treatment times which removes human error and ensures that a complete dose of germicidal energy is thoroughly applied to all surfaces in the treatment room, including shadowed areas. IPT robots are clinically proven to reduce HAI’s caused by harmful MDRO’s including Acinetobacter baumannii, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus.
